It’s Cities and Towns Week with the Colorado Municipal League and today we’re sharing fast town fact with you. On a hot summer day, Windsor water customers use about 4.1 million gallons of water, enough to cover a football field to 9.5 ft. deep. On a typical winter day, Windsor water customers use 1.3 million gallons. That would cover a football field to a depth of 3 ft. #WindsorWorks

Boardwalk Park’s “Preserving the Past for the Future” monument is getting another bronze statue this spring. Yesterday, a group from Windsor toured the foundry to see how the mother statue was coming along. Here’s a video clip from the casting process.

The Town of Windsor will grow by one more permanent resident in a few months. We’re excited to welcome the mother statue home this spring to the Boardwalk Park “Preserving the Past for the Future” monument. We thank the Windsor-Severance Historical Society and Bronze Services Fine Art Foundry for their involvement in this project. Additional photos in the comments.
